The website “Deadspin”, home to all things weird and wonderful on the internet today posted something that sportscasters and tech geeks would consider a work of art. NHL Broadcaster Mike “Doc” Emrick is known for his vast vocabulary and now he has his very own soundboard to prove it.
Now we can take in Doc’s 121 ways to say “pass” by not only reading the list (as above), but also hearing it in action. All of the clips come from game 1 of the 2013 Cup Final, not over a span of the season, but a single game. Kudos to Timothy Burke who created the soundboard for Deadspin.
