Few broadcasters are more synonymous with their sports as Vin Scully. The long-time broadcaster for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Scully was on air during a March 2014 ball game between the Dodgers and Angels in LA when a 5.1 earthquake rattled the area. Rarely thrown off, Scully took it in stride. “Little tremor here in the ballpark,” he said. “I’m not sure if the folks felt it, but we certainly felt it here in press box row. A tremor and only that, thank goodness.”
Here’s video of the call:
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
